Materials science and engineering is the academic practice in which major basic sciences such as physics, chemistry and biology are melded with mechanical, electirical, and chemical engineering. Therefore, the basic four elements of MSE, e.g. structure, properties, processing, and applications, are the essence of all academic courses in our departments. Also, among any other engineering programs, flexible thinking power and open minds are strongly required. Due to the very broad scope of MSE, people who want to get certain meaningful achievements are encouraged to enroll for advanced study in graduate school. We have faculties and provide curriculum that can match the whole spectrum of MSE fields in today's industries as well as academic institutes.
