Department of Mathematics offers a high quality, demanding graduate program to educate people who need profound understanding as well as up to date professional knowledge in mathematics.

We provide various graduate courses on Analysis, Algebra, Topology/Geometry, Applied Mathematics and Statistics in both basic and advanced levels to let the graduate students have solid background in Mathematics and cultivate their mathematical creativity. Due to its role in science and engineering, Mathematics becomes more and more important, and we make every effort to cope with the request in applying Mathematical theories. We try to reflect the demands from the real world problems to the curriculum and to do research on applications. Research oriented programs in both pure and applied Mathematics are provided in the department.
