The Ajou College of Pharmacy offers the Master of Science in pharmaceutical sciences and Doctor of Philosophy in pharmaceutical sciences: biomolecular sciences (medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, manufacturing chemistry), applied pharmaceutical sciences (pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacognosy), preventive pharmacy and clinical research. The graduate programs are designed to prepare students for main responsibilities in pharmacy practice, the pharmaceutical industry and scientific research beyond those taught in the basic PharmD curriculum. The program includes coursework as well as research focusing on topics like drug discovery and development, drug delivery and nanoparticles, drug efficacy, safety and toxicity, etc.
