The Blue Ladder Project, which provides overseas training opportunities for socially and economically disadvantaged college students, has selected 17 universities. A total of about 850 people will be selected according to the criteria of each university, and about 4-5 weeks of overseas training and career exploration experience will be provided. A government subsidy of about 4 million won per person will be provided for dormitory fees, local education fees, etc. The Blue Ladder Project, which is jointly operated by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Scholarship Foundation, is a project to provide overseas training experience and open the way for career exploration to socially and economically disadvantaged college students in order to ensure equal educational opportunities. Each university will conduct pre-training at the university, such as career testing, capacity building workshops, language education, safety and etiquette education. At the local university abroad, during the summer vacation period of 4-5 weeks, the opportunity to explore career through language training, team project execution, cultural experience, and corporate visit will be provided. The application schedule is different for each university, but you can apply in April. Students from other schools who are not students of participating universities can also apply to the regional lead university through the recommendation of their affiliated university. Anyone who is a socially and economically disadvantaged student studying at a domestic university can apply. The number of people selected and the dispatched country/university are different for each university. ▲ Ansan University in Seoul/Capital will dispatch 20 students to overseas educational institutions. ▲ Kangwon University in Chungcheong/Gangwon will select 60 college students in the Kangwon region. Sunmoon University will select 80 students, including 65 Sunmoon University students and 15 students in the Chungcheong/Gangwon region. 20 people to the University of Nevada, 30 people to the Thai campus of Ming Chuan University in Taiwan, and 30 people to Duy Tan University in Vietnam. ▲ Chonbuk University in Jeolla/Jeju plans to provide 5 weeks of overseas university training and corporate training during the summer vacation period for 45 students of its own school and 8 students of other schools. Chosun University also selects and dispatches students and grants 3 credits after returning home. ▲ Keimyung University in Daegu/Gyeongbuk will select 60 students and dispatch 20 students each to the University of Los Angeles, Westminster King's Way College in the United Kingdom, and the University of Berjaya in Malaysia for 4 weeks in July and August. Yeungnam University will dispatch a total of 60 students to Australia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Hoseo University will dispatch 30 students to the University of Guam in the United States. ▲ Dong-eui University in P/U/K will select 60 students and dispatch students to Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines for 4 weeks during the summer vacation. The other universities are not yet known. 사회경제적 취약계층 대학생을 대상으로 해외 연수 기회를 제공하는 ‘파란사다리 사업’에 17개 대학이 선정됐다. 각 대학별 기준에 따라 총 850명 내외를 선발해 약 4~5주간의 해외 연수와 진로탐색 경험을 제공할 예정이다. 기숙사비, 현지 교육비 등 국고보조금이 1인당 400만원 내외로 지원될 예정이다.
